Nicholas Robbins 

Being born in the suburbs of New York City, the largest city in the country, has had a big impact on my life. Growing up in a sports city, all I've wanted to do is cover sports for a living. My grandfather was a journalist in the 1960's, covering sports and major news events for the award winning Journal American. I am a recent graduate of the University of Alabama, graduating with a Bachelors degree in news media, sports media in May 2023.

During my time in Alabama I gained great experience writing and on the air via co-hosting a weekly radio show and developing college football podcasts. I interned for one football season with AL.com as a freelance high school football writer covering some of Alabama's most talented young players and highly completive teams. I spent all four years at Alabama on the Crimson and White staff, the schools official paper.

With the Crimson and White I covered a variety of sports getting incredible experience across the board. Some of my best work was while covering stories related to football, basketball and tennis.

My experience spans from print to digital media, having spent two years co-hosting a college football podcast on Youtube. The channel has gained over 1,000 subscribers since I joined the show and keeps growing. I also spent 6 months co-hosting a radio show on campus discussing all things Alabama sports. 

I am hard working aspiring writer with a passion for sports, looking to apply my college journalistic experience to an entry level position where I can further develop my writing and broadcast skills in a sports focused role.
